Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from Zula.

How to request data deletion

To request deletion of your Zula account and all associated personal data, send an email to support@gozula.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".

Include the following in your email:

  • Your full name
  • The email address or phone number associated with your Zula account
  • Confirmation that you want your account and data permanently deleted

What data is deleted

Upon processing your request, we will permanently delete:

  • Your account profile (name, email, phone number)
  • Your saved payment methods (tokenised card references)
  • Your booking preferences and search history
  • Your push notification tokens

What data is retained

For legal and financial record-keeping purposes, we retain anonymised records of:

  • Completed booking transactions (anonymised, for tax and accounting compliance)
  • Payment records (required by South African financial regulations)

These records cannot be linked back to your identity after deletion.

Processing time

Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Any outstanding payments must be settled before your account can be deleted.
